A test process that measures the Pulsed Power level of an RF signal as compared to the unmodulated CW signal. Where the signal level is first measured in a CW mode and stored as the reference measurement, then the signal is pulse-modulated and the peak RF signal is measured.
Note – This measurement is typically made with a sampling scope. Where the measurement windows can be clearly defined avoiding overshoot and undershoot of the pulsed signals. As well as false/low measurements made in the rise and fall time regions of the signal.
